Susan and Sasaki: Day 11 Bread

We've had an abundance of homemade sourdough bread around here.  So we had some for breakfast and lunch. Nice steamed sourdough bread for breakfast and fried bread for lunch.  Fried.  Yessss!

Frying the bread and tempeh croutons while stirring the polenta was a lot to handle at lunch time, but it was worth it.  Fried bread, Fried tempeh....yum!  They work so well in these dishes.  

Four more recipes from "The Complete Macrobiotic Diet" book completed!  40 recipes down, 42 more to go!

Jesse's homemade whole wheat sourdough bread. Topped with Tahini & Jam and Peanut Butter & Sauerkraut. Sauerkraut also made by Jesse.
