Today we had a cooking exchange with our Italian friends Carlo and Lionella! Cooking exchanges are the best. You not only get to hang out with your friends, but also learn to cook new recipes. Over the past few years Jesse and I have shared many dinners with Carlo and Lio. They live a couple blocks away from us. Carlo and Lio teach us how to cook Italian dishes and we teach them macrobiotic dishes. They have a new addition to their family as of a few months ago, and that makes our time even more enjoyable.
I completed five more of Susan's recipes from "The Complete Macrobiotic Diet" book today. In addition, I learned how to make two Italian dishes from Carlo and Lio. Tuscan Zuppa and Fregola! AND we practiced rolling our R's in Italian words. Rrrrrr...
